Carbide Punch & Die Button Ordering Questions

What information is needed for a carbide punch quotation?

Send the current drawing revision, carbide grade, working profile, head and shank dimensions, critical tolerances, surface finish and order quantity. Identify the mating die or retainer dimensions where relevant.

Can I order a replacement from a sample?

Tell MS Mold Parts whether you have a drawing, a sample or both. State which dimensions are critical. Material grade and acceptance dimensions need to be agreed before a replacement is ordered.

How should I specify a carbide die button?

Include the bore or cutting profile, outside diameter, overall length, shoulder or head geometry and installation requirements. Specify the required carbide grade rather than using a general hardness value alone.

Are tolerance and lead time the same for every part?

Confirm them for the individual drawing and order. Geometry, material grade, finishing requirements and quantity affect the quotation; do not assume that a value on another product page applies.

How do overseas buyers request a quote?

Send your drawing, quantity, delivery country and postcode through the inquiry page or email abby@msmoldparts.com. Include your required delivery date and preferred measurement units.
